Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located for the racecourse, with pleasant reception staff. The rooms are cozy and feature a spacious bathroom, though the bath release was faulty. Breakfast is meager for the price and only payable by card, which can be inconvenient. The restaurant onsite is good, but there are some scruffy areas within the hotel.
The hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, although somewhat disappointing with dust in various places, had all the essentials and were clean and fresh. The service, while a bit frosty from some staff, improved with others going above and beyond to assist. The location was noisy at times, but convenient for Doncaster Races. The dining was average with limited options. Overall, a decent stay with some areas needing improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were very modern and nicely decorated, but unfortunately, my room had a strong cigarette smoke smell and some cleanliness issues. Despite that, the bed was lovely and very comfortable, although the cold seeping in through the window was a bit of a bother at night.
